FANS 3GD

The following characteristics are mandatory:

inspection hatch to check for the presence of dust deposits inside the drum and that the necessary gaps are maintained between moving parts and fixed parts;
suitable gaskets to avoid excessive escape of fluid from the flanges;
protective grilles on the inlet and outlet*;
appropriate motor in relation to the area of use.

The impellers can be made of aluminium or fi breglass reinforced polyamide:

*) The ATEX directive and the CE mark impose compliance with the machinery directive, so, in normative terms, the Atex fan must be considered as a partly completed machine and therefore protected. Users who, on the basis of a thorough risk analysis, consider it appropriate to remove the protections, should preserve them carefully so that they are available for installation if the fan undergoes a change in its intended use.

FANS 2GD

The same prescriptions already provided for the 3GD are applicable, and, in addition, the motor must be suitable in relation to the various operating environments.
